How We Support (Methods / Pathways)

View all pathways →

01Focus block planningDefine when focus starts and ends.

Define one task and a clear stopping point before beginning the block. Keep the materials for that task visible, move unrelated items out of the way, and finish by noting the next step so attention does not have to rebuild the whole context later. Keep “Focus block planning” proportionate to the rest of the Focus Rhythm Structuring routine and simplify it if it becomes hard to repeat.

02Intention settingWrite the task in one sentence before starting.

Use a short start ritual that makes the next task explicit. Write one sentence describing what ‘done for now’ means, open only the materials needed for that step, and begin before adding more planning. Use “Intention setting” as a practical part of Focus Rhythm Structuring, not as another obligation that has to be completed perfectly.

03Distraction parkingMove interruptions into a separate capture space.

Keep a small capture space beside the task for ideas, reminders, and unrelated jobs that appear while you are working. Write them down without solving them immediately, then return to the original task and review the list at a planned transition. Within Focus Rhythm Structuring, “Distraction parking” should stay flexible enough to fit an ordinary day rather than becoming a fixed rule.

04Recovery breaksPlace a small reset between focus blocks.

After a concentrated block, change both posture and visual distance for a few minutes. Stand, walk, look farther away, refill water, or complete a simple physical task before asking attention to settle into another demanding block. Use “Recovery breaks” as one flexible support cue within Focus Rhythm Structuring, rather than a stand-alone rule that has to be followed exactly.

05Completion ritualClose each block with a next-step note.

Before stopping, write down the next concrete step and clear only what is needed to make tomorrow easier. The aim is a clean handoff—not a second planning session—so the current day can close without carrying every open task into the evening. Use “Completion ritual” as a practical part of Focus Rhythm Structuring, not as another obligation that has to be completed perfectly.
